Pastor’s Teachings

Guidelines from God’s Word:

“How to find the Church God established where Jesus truly reigns supreme, so you can comfortably bring your family, learn God’s Word contextually, and grow in Christ as God’s desires?” (Acts 2:41-47)

First, look for a man/pastor who is truly transformed, i.e., living a life of obedience to God’s Holy Word EVERYDAY, and leading people to truly follow Jesus completely.

Second, look for people who humbly live lives of obedience to God’s holy Word.

Third, look for people who are willing to change their lives when it is “out of line” with God’s Holy Word. Specifically, people who are clothed with gentleness and true love of Jesus (John 14:15)

Fourth, look for people who are in fellowship weekly, absent with only rare exceptions.

Fifth, look for people who have reverence for our Lord and Savior, regularly partake in the Lord’s Supper, and respect God’s ministry.

Sixth, look for people who have a genuine appreciation for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and a prayer life reflective of that.

Seventh, look for people whose love is demonstrated in giving and doing for others.

Eighth, look for a unified people.

Ninth, look for an infectious love for all of humanity.

Spirit 1400 AM Broadcast

During Pastor Jones’ last Spirit 1400 AM radio broadcast, GOD used him to deliver a message entitled “Genuine Salvation Is More Than ‘Words’ And Church Membership” (John 3:1-9). There were important statements of truth and key points of the message. They were:

  1. Deception is not deception until the deceived do not know they are deceived! For example, everyone living in sin and claiming to be a Christian has been deceived by the adversary because there can be no salvation without genuine transformation, i.e., new birth.
  2. Genuine salvation/Christianity has two conditions. They are the death of the old sinful person and birth of a new person devoted to following Jesus. (Critical Clarification: uttering Romans 10:9 “words”, getting baptized, joining a ministry/church, becoming an officer or preacher Do Not bring about salvation.)
  3. Education does not indicate salvation. Living in obedience to GOD’S Holy Word daily does.
  4. Understanding is not a condition to obeying GOD. The Word of GOD is never “Yea” and “Nay” BUT “Yea” and “Amen!”
